Christmas is fast approaching and we are taking orders now for all your holiday needs. Cakes, cookies, fudge and pies are all offered at Bodine's Baking Company. Christmas time is filled with many great memories as we have many traditions. Our family goes to the Christmas tree farm to pick out the perfect tree the Saturday following Thanksgiving, we decorate the house with lights and make gingerbread houses together. One of our  favorite parts of the Christmas season is sharing are baked goods with others which is how we got our start in baking. We had the opportunity to participate in the ARTini 2015 event to help raise funds for Gallery 510 in Downtown Decatur. This event takes place every year in November at Paco's Sol Bistro. Local businesses donate a variety of great items to be a part of a silent auction. We donated an 8" 2 layer vanilla and chocolate cake covered in vanilla fondant with a beautiful diamond tuck pattern with edible pearls and coordinating colors for the event. It was a pleasure meeting and working with all those involved in the event. We look forward to participating in other events that support our community.

Here at Bodine's Baking Co. we strive to become a household name. The go to bakery that provides quality products and excellent customer service. For me a cake is not just another order to fill it's an opportunity to do something great for a customer. Having the bakery is a dream come true for us. We get to do something we are passionate about and share it with others. My greatest reward is seeing the reactions on our customers faces or hearing about how our product brought back special memories. Even though Christmas decorations have already been in some stores for weeks now, it's just starting to hit home with us. Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away and we'll be baking up a storm!
